Ingredients :
1. Milk 1 1/2 Its
2. Almonds 1/2 cup
3. Sunflower seeds (chironji) 2 tbsps
4. Pistachios 8-10
5. Sugar 3/4 cup
6. Saffron a few strands
Steps To Cook :
1. Soak almonds in one cup of hot water for five minutes. Drain and peel. Reserve a few for garnishing and make a paste of the rest.
2. Slice the reserved almonds and pistachios. Wash and pat dry chironji.
3. Bring milk to a boil, stirring continuously. Simmer over low heat till milk coats the back of the spoon.
4. Stir in almond paste dissolved in half a cup of water or mille and mix well. Add sugar and saffron and cook till sugar gets £lilly dissolved.
Chill and serve BASONDI garnished with slice almonds, pistachios and chironji.
