Ingredients :
1. Carrots 8-10 mediwn sized
2. Raisins 2 tbsps
3. Pure ghee Y4 cup
4. Milk 1 cup
5. Green cardamom powder Y2 tsp
6. Khoya/mawa (grated) l cup
7. Sugar. 1 cup
8. Cashewnuts 8-10

Steps To Cook :

1. Peel, wash and grate carrots. Wash raisins and pat them dry.

2. Heat pureghee in a thick-bottomed pan, add grated carrots and saute for five minutes.

3. Add milk, green cardamom powder and cook on mediwn heat for five to six minutes or until the milk: evaporates and the carrots are cooked.

4. Stir in the grated khoya and sugar and cook for two to three minutes or till the sugar melts and mixes well, stirring continuously.

5. Add raisins and cashewnuts and continue to cook for two minutes more

serve hot GAJAR HALWA (CARROT HALWA) or at room temperature.
