Ayala Fry In Masala

Ingrediants :

1 kg mackerel cleaned but whole.
2 tsp chopped ginger.
2 tsp chopped garlic.
100 gms onion sliced.
3 tbsp oil.
Curry leaves.
1 tbsp red chilli powder.
1/2 tsp turmeric powder.
1 tsp tamarind.
4 green chillies, sliced.
Salt - As reqd

Method :

1. In a pan heat oil and saute onion, chilli, garlic and ginger.

2. Add fish, curry leaves, turmeric powder, chilli powder, salt to taste and tamarind.

3. Cover and cook on a low fire for 10-15 mts.

4. In another pan heat some oil.

5. Remove the fish from the masala and fry it well.

6. Spread the masala on a banana leaf(or a plate), place the fried fish on top, and garnish with green salad and a lemon wedge.
