Parippu payasam

Ingrediants :

Green grams 1/2 cup
thick coconut milk 1/4 cup
whole milk 1/4 cup
sugar 1/4 cup
raisin 100gm
cashew nut 100gm
ghee 2 tablespoons

Method :

1. Soak the green grams in water overnight.

2. boil it with water for 20 minutes, until the green gram is cooked.

3. then add whole milk, coconut milk, sugar & cardamom pods.

4. stir constantly for 10 minutes, until the sugar is dissolved.

5. now fry seperately the raisin & cashewnut in a pan.

6. add the ghee & roasted nuts to payasam.

serve hot
